Traineeships & Apprenticeships

Unlock Your Career

Earn while you learn with a traineeship or apprenticeship. Designed for recent school leavers — gain real-world experience and complete a nationally recognised qualification, all while getting paid.

What is a Traineeship or Apprenticeship?

A traineeship or apprenticeship combines paid work with formal training. You'll learn on the job, build practical skills and complete a nationally recognised qualification.

Traineeships are a great way to start your career, explore your options or try something new. They span sport and recreation, business and administration, education, finance, IT and arts — full-time (38h/week over ~12 months) or part-time (13–15h/week over 2 years).

Apprenticeships are generally focused on skilled trades — horticulture, construction, electrical or plumbing. They usually take 3–4 years and combine practical work with formal training.
